Barefoot Todd and Barefoot Jon during Portland Marathon 2016 October 9 Sunday
There I was just running along when I saw a guy who was too cheap to buy shoes “todd”ling along in front of me. As I sidled up beside him to give him flak about not having any footwear, I realized that it was Jon! : )
It has been MANY years since we have seen each other, let alone run together, so that was quite a treat!
He said that he was going to run to the half then drop back, but we both ended up finishing strong together along with one of the newest Marathon Maniacs, Pam.
It was a GREAT day and Jon helped the miles melt away, as always. And, again as always, it was an honour to run with my Barefoot Brother!!
